Matthew Reese

Bio

Since becoming the Offensive Line Coach at his alma mater, Reese has coached offensive lines that have paved the way for two 1,000 yard backs (Blaine Burke - ‘22, Le’Kamren Meadows - ‘24) and four backs that averaged 6.3+ yards per carry (Blaine Burke, Abram Jackson - ‘22, Bravis Cave Jr., Le’Kamren Meadows - ‘24). The offensive lines under Reese have also protected the Quarterback, allowing less than 10 sacks during the 2021, 2022, and 2024 seasons. Reese has helped five offensive lineman sign to play football after high school (Mason Myers - Arkansas State, Carson Dillashaw - Southeastern Louisiana, Jackson Randall - West Alabama, Caydon Smith - Delta State, Logan Suggs - Huntingdon).

Reese graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in History from UAB in 2020.
