Brandon Campbell

Bio

Back at his alma mater, Coach Campbell leads Moody's "Blackshirt" Defense the way he led it as a player, with purpose. After taking over play calling duties in 2023, the Blackshirt Defense became a top 10 defense statistically, setting a school record only giving up 15.7 PPG, while helping the Blue Devils reach the 3rd Round for only the 2nd time in school history. This past season, one of the best defenses in the state, the Blackshirt Defense only allowed opponents to 11.2 PPG and held all 5 playoff opponents to an average of 6.2 PPG. This was instrumental in Moody's first ever state championship appearance. In his past 2 seasons, Coach Campbell has assisted in helping 13 Defensive players sign to play at the next level.


Coach Campbell Graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2010. He has since earned a Master’s in education and an EdS from the University of West Alabama. Campbell is a 2005 graduate of Moody High School where he played on the 2004 Region Championship team.


He and his wife Amanda have one daughter, Ella Kate (9).
