Andrew Cromer

Bio

Linebacker play has been one of the Blue Devils strengths and a huge part in becoming one of the state's best defenses year in and year out. Coach Ganus has said he would never delegate linebacker coaching, but that changed when he and Coach Cromer were connected 3 years ago. "LBU" a saying for Coach Ganus' Linebackers at Thompson, was brought over to Moody and is alive and well headed into year 4. Since 2022, all 3 graduating starting linebackers have received an opportunity to play at the next level. Dewayne Logan 23' (Indy CC) Zane Smith 24' (Jacksonville State) Gavyn Baker 24' (Troy).

Cromer graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies and a Masters in Education. He is an alumnus of Moody High School, playing football for the Blue Devils before graduating in 2001.

He has been married to his wife Kristan for 14 years and together they have three children, Audrey (12), Finn (10), and Emma (6).
